Bon bou3

Travail sérieux à l’ancienne !

Think twice before you use this plumber! My experience shows he will simply rip you off and not solve your problem.
We had a leak from a sewage pipe in the garage which is connected to the washing machine and one of the toilets. The plumber - a Belgian guy- just looked at the connection with the washing machine and started complaining how unprofessionally it was done and that we had to replace the whole thing which he said would cost us 300 euros.
He did absolutely nothing to at least temporarily stop the leak and wrote an invoice for 169 euros! When I complained about the price and that he didn't solve the problem he said he was basically doing me a favour and someone else would have charged me even more....
We didn't trust his judgement at all because we had the current connection for four years and it never leaked before.
Luckily we found someone else the next day - a Greek plumber - who solved the problem by simply screwing tightly the connection pipe to the main pipe at a correct angle. He also found out that part of the problem was a constant small leak from the WC water tank and recommended replacing the old tank with a new one.
The second plumber charged me 40 euros!
No wonder people prefer Polish, Romanian or Greek plumbers.
If you ever use anyone like the MMS Sprl plumbers do ask in advance how much they would charge you just to pay you a visit. But best of all simply avoid local plumbers and go for foreigners!
